We had a great time refreshing with nature for two whole nights this past weekend. Thanks to my sister for a solid recommendation on where to go, which was a wonderful spot called Hemlock Falls, GA, USA. Misty took most of these pictures with a Canon EOS Rebel T7.

Looks amazing, that is some amazing wildlife. Nothing life nature to refresh the soul.
That’s right!
I’ve enjoyed visiting Helen the one or two times I’ve been. I try to avoid Octoberfest. Too much traffic and too touristy. I need to get back up there sometime after the pandemic.
Check out The Hayloft for some live music and drinks. Not too touristy, more locals at this place but if you want more people and dancing, Paul’s On The River.
I think they do karaoke as well at The Hayloft, if you are into that sort of thing.
Do they have local brews on tap? I liked that about a place I visited in Myrtle Beach.
Not sure at all. I’d be lucky to down a bottle of Belgian White Blue Moon. 🤠
Ahhh, getting back to nature! Glad you survived and that bears didn’t eat you, or that poisonous snakes didn’t bite or that you didn’t get some fatal disease from a mosquito or tick.
Ahhh, nature. Gotta love it 😉
I’m grateful for that, too. Ha, ha. There were a lot of frogs around. Rustling the leaves and making us go, “Wait. Ssshhh. What was that?!”
It’s been way too long since I went camping.
That looks and sounds a well cool getaway!
It certainly was. Thanks fraggle. 🤠
Those are lovely pictures! My favorites are the extreme close-ups of moss and lichens, but mixing them with campfire photos was good idea. I keep expecting to see a gnome pop out.
So glad you got to go on this. It’s good news after having been a bit worried about you.
I appreciate your concern, Ms. Mugrage. Im good as new.
Yeah, I was impressed as well when Misty showed me the spark flying pictures.
Lovely place! Glad to see you up and about after that hospital stint! And camping and hiking is such a great way to reset and relax!
It really had been too long since I last went ( maybe upwards of 5 years ago ). Thanks, Ola G. By the way, that cooking job I did was breakfast for dinner, Jimmy Dean Sausage and scrambled eggs. 😁
I’ve never been there, but oh it looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing the photos.
That it certainly was, Ms. Bettis. Misty hadn’t been camping for longer than me, so she was extra overdue on a nature trip. Thank you, as well.
