Comments are Working in WordPress Reader 🥳

The launch of this blog has been a great one. We are around six months in, and I really appreciate everyone who follows and views what I post and do not take it lightly. You set time out of your busy schedule, along with the myriad of worldly problems going on right now.

However, I have great news:

Comments, along with my Gravatar issues with my comments on other sites, are now fixed and showing up in the WordPress Reader, in which some of you use to keep track of comments. Let’s hope we go without trouble for some long period of time. Your issues are important to me, I only regret not fixing it sooner. Also, we just hit over 50 followers:

On an unrelated note, have you seen THE JET PACK MAN?!

Do you think this is really a jet pack man or something else entirely? I’ll let you decide.

Congrats on getting the gravatar part fixed. I’m leaving this comment and we’ll see if it shows up in my WP notification area or not 🙂
fingers crossed

Well, that’s unfortunate. They are still showing in mine. You’ll have to take it up on your end. It’s out of my hands. 🙆‍♂️

I hope they can help get it fixed. 🤠

Oh dang! I didn’t realize you were banned. 😲 I tend to have a low tolerance for an experience like that due to my background! Ha, ha. It was all in good faith at cutting to the chase, if you will! I had to put my monk hat on several times in between conversation. 🤣🤣

I will fight for you, as a follower, to a certain degree! I wonder who else can tell us if it’s working for them, or not . . . 🙃

My, things have changed since I blogged 10 years ago. 🌝

I used some, um, “strong” language about the block editor back in March-May and let the words hit whoever was in the way. So now I’m banned 😀 At first I thought it was a temporary thing, but considering that I still am (I frequent the forums to keep an ear to the ground), I suspect it is permanent 😀

Come on! Even Bookstooge knows nothing is permanent, not even that one “perm” that Richard Simmons got when Netscape Navigator was released. 🥁🍗

I’m sticking to my original theory that “freemium” is a bad word! 🌝 It’s more like “screamium” 😅 It’s just two words that shouldn’t be put together, even in a business model.

Geez, the poor folks got close lined from all directions, I’ll bet, especially those .org volunteers that give up quick. Geez. Just a boat load of issues surrounding all that.

EDIT: So, I just used my test account and it didn’t show up in conversations until I did a couple F5s ( refreshes ), but it is working on that test account.

Are we talking about the same thing then? I was referring to the notification area (the bell icon in the upper right of the reader), not the conversations tab. I’ve looked at that several times and it never seems up to date so I never got into it.

Oh, I gotcha! I think the mix up might have been because I didn’t like your comment until later. I woke up in some sort of haze. Lol. Apologies for the misunderstanding, then, Mr. Bookstooge. 🥳

Ola, good to see you back over here commenting, once again. I’ll take any ol comment over no comment any day. 😝 I’ll send you a ping back later if I feel cute.
