This post deserves to be posted everyday: The real reason for the season is Jesus Christ. We are told many things about how December 25th isn’t actually Jesus’ birthday, but pay no mind to the noise, because Jesus Christ is my personal savior. I will tell anyone who asks, all year long that only through prayer and supplication, attention toward a willingness to grow and learn in him, to learn about what he did for us and his empowerment towards us, to even do things even greater than Jesus did. He was born of the virgin Mary and if one questions even such miracle this holiday, then I ask one to simply look in the mirror, how one wakes up every day and simply walks and talks.
“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.” – 1 Timothy 1:15-17[ Verse Source: countryliving.com ]
I would also like to take time to thank my late Father and my current Mother for bringing me up ( although at times, I was resistant and still am – oh, how we learn and how we grow from being astray! ) in the church, so I may learn the intricacies of faith. I have learned as God, the Son and The Holy Spirit have taught me over and over that there is power like no other in connection with the Trinity – God, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday Jesus Christ and I wish everyone the best Christmas and 2021 ever, even given the present circumstances, in what I pray that everyone will find diversity in the face of adversity, in the best way possible. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Guys and gals, until next time – may you find all the happiness that your life can fit in it’s happy spot – S.D. McKinley.
