Happy New Year: 2020 Year End Summary

Let me start by sending condolences to all the ones ( including myself and my family ) that have suffered this past year, not only in small ways, but in big ways through 2020, as well. It’s been a doozy, to say the least, and I encourage everyone to keep doing the best you can, especially when faced with broad challenges. I feel it’s super important. Don’t get comfortable, don’t give up and most of all, put yourself and your significant other as #1 in the physical world. We all need to hold our own and take that next, best step to keep everyone moving forward in the best way possible and in a productive manner.

Here at SDMcKinley.com, we went from 0-52 followers in a matter of around six months. A lot of blog hopping was involved – and as they say, “You gotta get in where you fit in.” So, a special warm thank you to the ones that accepted me and interacted with me in a way that was great – we got a TON of laughs. In the end, that is what this is about: interaction. What would we be without each other? I won’t be naming names, but you know who you are! To any lurkers out there: you get an equal thank you. Keep coming back! I encourage commenting and no, you don’t have to stay on topic, just keep it respectful as best you can. If you want to vent about something, feel free just leave specific names out of it! I don’t want you talking bad about anyone specifically and if you need to, drop me a line in the contact form.

Most Underrated Posts:

When I started this blog, it was really just a ramp up to get back in the groove of blogging and, of course there wasn’t much traffic to speak of which means posts were made that are the most underrated:

It’s been a lax time at the holidays, but after the New Years weekend, here, it is back to the drawing board for the web serial ( LJ and Rom Book #2 ), which in I hope to get some positive encouragement over and good vibes to wrap everything up nicely. Wouldn’t it be cool if I made a special edition omnibus for both, so it was a big novel you could absorb all at once? Indie reviews will be ramping down as I feel I have contributed more then enough and maybe they will pick back up sometime in the future. The focus will be on: number one, my writing and number two, reading / reviewing books that I hope I will love and you can enjoy what I think, as well. We have a blog tour coming up for How LJ and Rom Saved Heavy Metal in March ( EDIT: The Tour has moved up to February ), via Story Tellers on Tour. Needless to say, I’m excited about that.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! 🎉🎊🥳🎊🎈🎉💃👯‍♀️

Absolutely! Hey, we can get on discord or whatever and hash the whole thing out, if you think that would help. Let’s build a solid foundation to go off of. I’m sure you are perfectly capable of covering the basis! 😁 Thank you, Tales from the Neon Beach.

If I can stay at the same level as ’20, that will be perfect for me. I feel like this year was the sweet spot of almost everything in terms of blogging 🙂

Just let me know if you want me to run someone off. . . I got you. 🤣🤠

Seriously, though. I know what it’s like to have a little too much to handle, so maybe it’s not a bad joke? I’m sure psychic grandma can help, too!
