L&R Book #1 Tour Round Up

Thank you to everyone who participated in the blog tour. Overall, I am forever grateful for your attention and kind support. As a side note: Dang. I was really hoping someone would rip my book to shreds and cause some good ol’ controversy. But hey, I’ll take what I can get:

Lecari’s Livejournal 2.0 – review

“LJ and Rom is a fantastic, fun read that had me totally hooked. I think if I had to compare it to anything, it might be the Bill and Ted films — they are also not too serious, have heavy metal references and have supernatural elements. But this book is unlike anything I’ve read before — and I am delighted to see that S D McKinley is currently working on a second book, released as a web serial on his blog. LJ and Rom is an absolute must-read for anyone who is a fan of the unusual or listens to heavy metal — you won’t be disappointed!”

Knapsack.News – review + IG spotlight

“After you bomb through How LJ and Rom Saved Heavy Metal (just like Rom and LJ blasting through their race course), you want to know, well, do they save Heavy Metal (and their friend, [D]Rom?) I don’t want to give it away, but I will say this – you sort of get to make your own mind up. At least, while we await the second book (presumably there will be one) to hit the shelves.”

Queen’s Book Asylum – book song playlist with encore

To those of you that signed up and had an opportunity to review the book in trade for even a free physical copy, but took off with your stimmy checks and peculiarly flavored Mtn Dew drinks, but didn’t, ultimately flopping out: Congratulations. You passed the test.

Come to think of it, the book IS sort of Bill-and-Ted-esque.

I can still rip your book to shreds, if you want. XD The blog tour organizers frowned on that. They also wouldn’t let me interview you. I dunno … Anyway, I’m still happy to do that on my blog if your schedule opens up.

All the best to you, LJ, Rom, the zombie, the monkey, and all those characters whose names begin with V! …

Really happy for you with this book tour. February was soo hellish in terms of time management for myself but hearing this blog tour highlight makes me happy that you were able to rejoice in all the positive energy people had for you and your content! Congrats again on the overall experience! 😀
