Nov. 2020 Book Haul

October is almost over and the horror reading will be winding itself down, here shortly. It was a great month for reading and writing, but it will be a nice change of pace because now I have several cobwebs growing in my brain. I didn’t quite read everything I meant to with Corpsepaint by David Peak and Wytches Vol. 1 by Scott Snyder sadly taking a bench seat on the Halloween 2020 reading list.

Remember, kids. The horror reads you. You don’t read the horror.

But, pay no mind, because November is practically here and we will have a wide variety of things to read. These books listed here are all paperback book haul here in November. Don’t even ask me about my eBook Haul. 🤣

Released in 1977, Philip K. Dick’s A Scanner Darkly.

I’ve seen the A Scanner Darkly movie several times and recently purchased on Blu-ray. I have heard the film is a very close adaptation from the book, so that should lessen the confusion and hopefully speed up the reading. I have talked about this some before. I’m might pick this book apart some, not quite sure yet.

The Long Guest by Jennifer Mugrage, releasing on Nov 2, 2020 in just a couple days.

I’m a follower of Ms. Mugrage’s blog ‘Out of Babel’. Go check it out. It’s great and from all that is good. I’m excited for this book. I’m not generally a history type fiction reader, but I do enjoy fiction centered around history of religion in particular. This is going to be an interesting read.

A Wizard’s Forge by A.M. Justice, released 2016

I won both books in the series The Woern Saga by A.M. Justice, from a Rafflecopter giveaway via Story Tellers on Tour. I haven’t received them quite yet, so I’m hoping to see those pop in the mailbox in the next couple days. If you are a blogger and looking to join some book tours ( I’m thinking about joining a couple tours next year. Also, I’m thinking of going to them for a promo blog tour for LJ and Rom book #2 release ), go check them out, they do announcements on their Instagram as well for book tours, so be sure to follow them there if that works better for you.

A Wizard’s Sacrifice by A.M. Justice, released just this month. Oct 2020.

That’s it guys – It’s an exciting time here at We are less than six months into the birth of this blog and things are moving along quite nicely with a combo on indie books and pub house releases from present and past, even the future, because Mugrage’s book isn’t even released yet! 😁

Lashaan, I started on the audio book, which you can listen to for free on the big YouTube, the other day and it wasn’t bad. Which reminds me I need to finish it. It’s a perfect distraction from all the “poll watching” on the radio. 🤣
