The Little Free Library

Take a book, leave a book. The Little Free Library is a free place you can swap a book ( for free obviously ) and they are scattered around all over the place. My girlfriend and I went on a trip this weekend to Columbia, SC, USA and we noticed these were all around the neighborhoods there. What a cool idea! So what did I do? Luckily I brought a hefty serving of my books along and I dropped two of them in different Little Free Libraries. So, not only did I donate a couple of my books, now someone can potentially read it without having any online interaction, and I got a couple of nice books in return.

No Little Free Library around you? You can buy a kit and host one.

I think what’s really exciting about these is they are organically placed books so you really don’t know what kind of book you will find in the little shack.
